A data transfer utility that helps data transfer from SQLite and to DB2.
This tool will help transfer data from SQLite to DB2 databases. This tool is compatible to the Windows platform and will work with Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, 7, and 8. There are several ways one can collect data from the source database. You could simply identify a specific table from the source database and ask the data to be transferred to a destination table. It is possible to harvest data through a query from the source database and get it transferred to a destination table. This tool does it automatically and saves time when the IT department has to do this often or they have to transfer large amounts of data from one to the other. All these settings can be done through the simple to use interface. Even the latest recruit to the IT departments should be able to master this very quickly. There is an interface wizard to help things along. The configuration of a migration/conversion session could be set up visually.
The settings could be saved and reused on transfers at other times, saving you a lot of effort. The tool has a command line interface. Once you have gained some experience with setting the parameters, this can give you significant productivity gains. To make things even simpler you could convert a set of tables in a batch process. There is a progress bar indicating progress of the transfer operation. It indicates the time taken and time required to complete the session. Percentage transfer completed, number of records transferred are couple of other things you get to see. The direct import mode of transfer works fast. It can be of great help to the IT departments when frequent database transfers are to be made in an organization. This is a very good tool. If you have a need, try it out in your own set up.
